The Salt Lake Photographic Print society is co-sponsoring tour of Israel in the Spring of 2013 for all interested in this fascinating corner of the world but especially for photographers. The tour named the 2013 Israel Photographically Tour includes 10 days traveling the entire length of the country plus an optional 2 day extension in Petra located in adjacent Jordan. Utah photographer, and print society president, Dana Sohm, is organizing the tour and will serve as photographic advisor.
The Print Society is currently displaying images from the last competition winners at Columbus Library at 2530 S 500 East, South Salt Lake 84106. The Exhibit will be open for viewing until the end of June 2012.
I am excited once again to extend a Call for Images for our annual scenic calendar. We are looking for images for our 2013 Utah Scenic Calendar. Please see the attached information sheet.
Deadline For Submissions: APRIL 20, 2012
The Utah Office of Tourism will accept all formats of images for consideration for the 2012 Annual Scenic Calendar. Original transparencies or high quality RAW or TIFF files will be required for final production after photo selection.
Our second and final print competition of the year will take place April 9, 2012, not April 16 as previously communicated. That is in less than 2 weeks! Here are the details:
